K&T Boer Goats – Sales & Pickup Policy
🔹 Deposits:
A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold any goat. No animals will be held without this deposit.
In the event the animal becomes unfit for sale due to injury, illness, or death, your deposit will be refunded or may be applied toward another available animal of equal value.
🔹 Pickup & Transport:
All goats must be picked up or have transport arranged within 2 weeks of purchase. After that period, a boarding fee of $5 per head, per day will be charged unless prior arrangements are made.
We are happy to recommend several trusted livestock haulers if you’re unable to pick up in person.
All goats not being picked up in person must be paid in full no later than the day before the transporter arrives.
🔹 Exposed Does:
Occasionally, we offer does listed as "Exposed." While we will provide dates of exposure and any witnessed breedings, pregnancy is not guaranteed. If applicable, a Service Memo will be included for registration purposes. Usually exposed does will be offered with a straw of semen as well.
🔹 Bred Does:
Does listed as "Bred" are guaranteed to be bred at the time of sale. However, due to factors beyond our control — such as stress, illness, or environmental changes — we cannot guarantee the birth of live kids.
🔹 Health Guarantee & Health Certificates(CVI's):
All goats are sold “AS IS” and are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of sale.
All goats over one year of age have been tested negative for CAE and Johne’s and a copy of test results can be provided upon request.
Goats purchased through production sales will include a health certificate at no additional cost. For goats purchased privately, a health certificate can be provided at the buyer’s expense (typically $50).
We are not responsible for any illness, injury, or death caused by transportation stress or other circumstances beyond our control once the animal leaves our property.
